Our PURPOSE
The Hart Bryant Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping families who have experienced the heartbreaking death of a baby from pregnancy through infancy. We provide support through memorial gifts given to grieving families at the hospital, fundraising events for hospital bereavement funds and related charities, community events for bereaved families, and comprehensive resources available to all.
Our goal is to keep our babies in our hearts, while helping to heal the hearts of their families.
Hart's Hearts
'Hart's Hearts' are memorial gifts that we provide to Northwestern Prentice Women's Hospital in Chicago. These gifts are given to any family that has lost a baby in pregnancy, in labor & delivery, or after a NICU stay. They will receive these gifts prior to leaving the hospital. For parents, we give a gift that includes a handmade ceramic candleholder with a candle to be used in memory of their child. We also include a letter to parents. For siblings, we provide hand crocheted plush hearts with a note.
Hart's Birthday
Each year we will host a fundraising event in honor of our son Hart's birthday in October which will benefit a cause related to baby loss and/or families in the NICU. Our first event is to be announced. Please check back for more information.
Community Events
We will host periodic events in the Chicago area for families affected by baby loss. We are committed to working with a Child Life Specialist to offer events for bereaved siblings. These events are for young children who are grieving the loss of their sibling in order to help cope with grief, create connections, and remember their baby brother or sister. Our first event is to be announced.

HOSPITAL DonatIons
Through financial donations to established bereavement funds at the hospital, as well as donations of items to the NICU on an as-needed basis, we aim to support families at Prentice Women's Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
